Reflections Week 1 - Multiple Identities

ButterflyConservatory (28)

This was not my best day to record. I had some audio issues and my voice is totally hoarse due to a sore throat, but we cannot lose momentum. This was the right time to reflect.

Oí, my friend.

I was thoroughly engaged in your reflections on week 1 of the course. Hearing your comments rather than reading them was not only a refreshing alternative to keyboarded text but also a demonstration of yet another very useful Web tool, Audacity. It was odd how even though you were hoarse, the excitement and enthusiasm (ginga!) that is such a personal "signature" of yours was still there.

I've also noticed the change in the FT4E participants' input re the content of the course. I sympathized with the frustration and feelings of being overwhelmed that most if not all noted when the course began, but I was (and am) impressed with how those initial reactions have been replaced by many demonstrations of growth and maturity.

You know how I feel about blogging, so I won't say any more than that I completely agree with the importance of "finding one's voice" and with the fact that blogs make sharing and interacting possible in a very meaningful and personally enriching way.

I also agree 1000% that the greatest benefit of the Digital Age is not really the new and expanding technologies that it has made (and is making) available, but the value-added connecting, networking, communicating, and sharing that it makes possible.

I sincerely hope you're feeling better now!

Dear Dennis,

This is so true. The emerging technologies are enabling and are value-rich for true connections, networking, communication and sharing. I think our friendship is a vivid, real example of that. We could have never connect and collaborate if it weren't for the tools that gave us the possibility to meet and share.

Thanks for your invaluable friendship and partnership!

Dear Teacher.

I used the technologies changing the headphone to listen you. As you said it was not your best day to record. You had some audio issues and your voice is totally hoarse due to a sore throat, but we cannot lose momentum. I liked so much this final really was the first knowledge I learned in this course. This was the right way to reflect
