Wrapping up Week 3

Webtools4Educators
(download)

Here´s an audio wrap up for Week 3. First, I talk about week 2 concept of Web2.0. Then, I mention the social bookmarking week and its importance. Plus, the effectiveness of tagging. More on tagging you can explore in last night´s chat transcript.

Remember to use tagging for private use and public good! Now that you are part of the Webtools4Educators Diigo group, keep sharing your online findings! If there is any concept or step which is not clear to you, let us keep discussing it in our Diigo Forum.

Moving to EDUBLOGGING now!

As a VIP student of mine used to say "Impeccable" - I would add "to say the very least". I have been as busy as usual around here but I've been trying to follow you guys and , wow, how I really miss those days we were somehow closer. It's true we are connected via all these spaces but I can't help feeling a bit nostalgic. Another thing I'd add is I really envy Alba (is that her name) as she is able to have you physically around. Hope to be together soon - We are getting closer to the seminar and...I have butterflies in my stomach.
See you...

It´s always a bit nostalgic when the session is over, Gilmar. Though we´re still connected we get back to our crazy, crazy lives, but I can´t wait to meet you here in Brasilia in our seminar in July! I´m sure it will be a hit!

Hello Carlhave been really enjoying the course. You make it really special. I was so happy to see how everyone got so enthusiastic about social bookmarking.
Like Gilmar, I say this wrap message makes me nostalgic of the fun we were all having together with social bookmarking. Then you speak about week 4 and I am aready looking forward to doing the tasks of week 4. This learning roller coaster ride is really fun.
I am really glad to be taking this course.
See you in a few hours

Hey, José.

I´m so glad that you´ve been enjoying the ride. Yes, social bookmarking is an amazing way to share resources and to learn from others. You know that I´m a fan of edublogging, and I know you´ve been using it very diligently. Please, share your great examples with the group. I´m sure everybody will profit from it.
